Privacy Notice
This notice explains the information used when a business signs in to and operates Bill It Bharat.
Information we use
Google sign-in provides account information such as your name, email address, account identifier and, where available, profile image. Business setup may include a business name, phone number, address, GSTIN, catalogue, tables and feature settings.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, create and secure your business workspace, provide requested features, connect supported customer workflows, prevent misuse and respond to support requests.
Local-first records
Completed bills, sales, expenses and transaction history remain in browser or device storage for Free accounts, while business profiles, items and relevant master records sync through cloud services. Connected features use cloud services for the information required to connect the business and customer. See the data handling guide for practical details.
Product usage analytics
Bill It Bharat collects limited first-party, business-level usage statistics to understand product adoption, reliability and how features are used. These aggregates may include active days, bills completed, total billed value, units sold, catalogue size and counts of supported QR, ordering, booking or operational features. We do not upload customer names, phone numbers, individual invoice contents, individual transaction records or customer order contents for product analytics.
Anonymous public-site analytics are limited to aggregate page and feature-use counts. Bill It Bharat does not use this implementation for advertising profiles, cross-site tracking, session recording or device fingerprinting.
Service providers
Bill It Bharat uses Google services, including Firebase and Google Cloud, for authentication, hosting and connected application functions. Their processing is governed by their applicable privacy and security terms.
Retention and deletion
Cloud account and business information is retained while the account is active or as reasonably required for security, support and legal obligations. Local information remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears browser storage or removes the application data.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete cloud account information, withdraw an optional consent, or raise a privacy grievance. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and dispute purposes.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No online or device-based system can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their Google account and devices.
